The Tinker & Rasor M-1 pinhole detector is lightweight and easy to use, making the M-1 the professionals’ choice.
The M-1 is known worldwide as the best choice for the inspection of thin film coatings (0 to 20 mils). The M-1 now uses six AA batteries and advance circuitry to produce 67.5 volts. With on-board calibration verification, the M-1 can be checked in the field with no other test apparatus needed. An LED lights on the front panel when the unit is in calibration and when a holiday is detected. The M-1 comes complete ready to go to work right out of the box. Headphones may now be used in noisy environments that drown out the normal audio signal.
Included with the M-1:
· Instrument with batteries
· 18" wand with 6' cable
· 15' ground wire
· Sponge electrode 2" x 2" x7" (After adding water, ships 2" x 2" x 1/4" compressed)
· 4 oz. bottle of "Water Wetter"
· Instruction Manual
M1/AC:
The same features found in our Model M-1 are also found in the Model M1/AC. The M1/AC is powered by 115 volt, 60 Hz, A.C. and produces a regulated output voltage of 67.5 volts D.C. This allows for 24 hour "in-plant" operation without down time for battery changes. The M1/AC is used extensively in rebar coating and other production type coating plants.
A warning bell and light indicator alerts the operator when a holiday is detected. This warning system can be heard above most ambient sound levels in a coating yard.
As with all Tinker & Rasor equipment the Model M1/AC is rugged, reliable and ready for work right out of the box.
