Anotec Cast Iron Small
Anotec manufactures anodes to accommodate customers' connection requirements, including both established industry standards methods and special custom designs whenever warranted by demand.
Typical features are:
Type A: Cast groove in hollow anode interior accepts customers' snap ring connector or caulked lead.
Type S: Cast cavity in anode end accepts caulked lead connections.
Type T: Cast conical seat in tubular anode accepts Anotec conical lead anchor soldered to cable.
Chill Cast in Metal Molds: Assures consistent weight, greater density, less flake graphite grain boundary, and lower chemical segregation than Sand Cast Anodes. The ANOTEC Chill Cast structure is similar to "Spin Cast" Tubular Anodes. (Shell Cast Anodes are available on application.)
Performance: Accelerated corrosion tests confirm that Anotec Chill Cast Anodes perform significantly better (up to 19%) than sand cast anodes in chloride and sulfate environments. Test reports are available on request.
